Every screen above is on every plan. There is no tier that takes retention away, and no tier that charges you again for the certificate at the end of a job you already paid for. What changes between plans is how many projects you run at once.

No. The trial runs for 30 days without any payment details. When it ends the account becomes read-only: your data stays intact and you can still view and export everything, but changes pause until you choose a plan.
No. Every plan carries every feature. Plans differ only by how many people can sign in and how many jobs you run at once. Charging more for the audit trail would be charging you for being able to prove your own work.
Never. They are guests. Software that charges per user teaches you to keep the client out of it, and then you spend every month exporting and redacting spreadsheets instead.
At any time, from your own account, without emailing anyone. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you have paid for and you keep full access until then. You can export everything, and your data stays available for 60 days after cancellation.
Each plan covers a number of jobs running at the same time, and the figures are set high enough that most businesses never reach them. Finishing a job and archiving it frees the space again, so the count follows the work you actually have on rather than the work you have ever done.
Move up a plan whenever you like and the difference is billed pro rata. No penalty, no renegotiation, and nothing stops working while you decide.
Correct. Entries record who changed which figure and when, and cannot be amended or deleted by any user, including the account owner. That is the point of it, and it is why it is on every plan rather than sold as an upgrade.
No, and we would not recommend it. Start with one live job and one certificate. If it does not save you time the first time you use it, there is no reason to move the rest.
Prices exclude VAT. If VAT applies it is added at checkout and shown on the invoice, which you can download at any time from your account.
