Construction payment in Ireland

Irish construction payment is governed by the Construction Contracts Act 2013. Payment claim notices and payment responses run to a statutory timetable, with a right to refer disputes to adjudication. Construction services are commonly subject to the 13.5% reduced VAT rate and, between businesses, the reverse charge.
