Audit trail
The audit trail
Every change to a figure is recorded with who made it and when. Not because anyone is under suspicion, but because a valuation nobody can account for is a valuation nobody can defend.

What is recorded
Changes to project data, certificates issued, documents printed, sign-ins, and changes to who has access.
- Open the Audit trail tab on a project.
- Entries show who, what and when.
- It cannot be edited, by anyone, including an admin.
Who can see it
Admins on your account. Guests never see it, and it is not part of anything shared with a client.
How long it is kept
Long enough to matter. Limitation periods vary by jurisdiction, six years on a simple contract and twelve on a deed under English law, and an audit trail deleted after twelve months is of no use in the dispute it was kept for.
Getting it out
The trail prints as a document, and your project data exports in full at any time. Nothing you enter is held hostage by the subscription.
